  • I grew up in the St. Louis and I went to De Smet for high school. I went to St. Louis University for undergraduate school and Mizzou for my MBA and law degree.


Why I Love My Job
I learned all too well when my father passed away unexpectedly in 2014, how important having a plan and more important, the resources of a full-service law firm was to my mother and our family.  Now I get to help thousands of families across St. Louis prepare for life and eventually death.

Jacquelynn Capriano - Attorney

I am an owner of Amen, Gantner & Capriano, Your Estate Matters, L.L.C.  I have been able to bring my legal education and experience into a firm that has for many years provided comprehensive estate plans that meet clients’ needs and expectations.   I know the importance of planning for the future, both economically and emotionally.  I, along with other members of the firm, will work hard to provide quality estate planning services to clients concerned about protecting their hard-earned dollars and providing for their loved ones in case of death or disability.

Adam Ford - Attorney

I am an Associate who manages the Post Mortem Department of Amen, Gantner and Capriano.  I am a member of the Missouri Bar, Missouri Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.  I regularly speak to clients regarding their rights and responsibilities after the loss of a loved one, and I help families through their administrative difficulties.

  • I volunteer on the Council of Young Friends at Our Lady’s Inn.
  • On Wednesday nights I enjoy playing in a recreational soccer league with college friends.
  • I am excited to be a new father as of March 22nd, 2018. Along with our son, Alexander, my wife and I recently adopted our dog Bailey from Stray Rescue.
  • I enjoy smoking up some good BBQ on the weekends to share with family and friends.


Why I Love My Job
I enjoy helping families through some of the most difficult times in their lives.  Administering a loved one’s estate is fraught with difficulties such as tax complications, family drama, and many other headaches.  We help families ease the process by taking these burdens off of their shoulders.


Rachel Hunsinger - Member Experience Coordinator

I help maintain estate plans and ensure that all funding for your trust is done correctly.  I am also the member coordinator which provides opportunities and benefits for our clients.

Logan Eckhardt - Marketing Coordinator

My mission as Marketing Coordinator for AGC is to encourage client bragging and fandom through awesome, engaging & educational content and events. In 2017, I planned and setup 130 events for clients, St. Louis seniors and professionals in the senior industry.

I work with families who are applying for Medicaid and VA Benefits.  I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience working as a social worker in a hospital and skilled nursing facility.

Lauren Meyer - Estate Planning Paralegal

My job as your estate planning paralegal is to collect and inventory asset information for the funding process.  I will then meet with you at a later date to explain your estate planning documents and handle any deeds that need to be funded into your trust.

Gail Lee - Senior Advisor

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Geriatric Care Manager. I have extensive experience in benefit planning and assisting families to obtain appropriate care. I have a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Gerontology and have used my experience as a Senior Advisor at the firm since 2005.

  • I served in the US Army and worked for the Army for many years and enjoy working with the veterans that come to our firm.
  • I have a daughter who recently got married so now I am experiencing that empty nest syndrome.
  • I am involved in many community activities at my church, Lion’s club, and Women’s Army Corps Association.

Pat Fisher - Client Services Coordinator

Serving as Amen, Gantner & Capriano’s Client Service Coordinator, my goal is to ensure every client of the firm has a “WOW Experience”.  I answer the phone, schedule appointments for attorneys and staff, and manage and coordinate the daily calendar for the busy firm.  I am always ready to help when needed in making sure clients’ needs are met in their law firm encounter.

  • I was a middle school educator and supervisor for 35 years.
  • I am an avid sports fan and particularly cheers for the University of Kentucky teams.
  • I love all kinds of music and my husband and I spend lots of time singing and dancing with our two grandchildren.

Julie Shelledy - Document Production Paralegal

Since joining the law firm in 1998, I have been the behind the scenes document production paralegal, helping our clients put their thoughts and wishes into action.  I follow-up with the clients when there are still decisions to be made and assist them in making those decisions.

  • I love watching my kids excel in their passions. Watching my daughter dance on-stage in competitions and watching my son play catcher on his baseball team.
  • I enjoy going to the gym and doing kick boxing classes and weight training.
  • I would love to take my family overseas so my children could meet all of their relatives. Touring Europe would be amazing, even though I hate to fly.
