"Huntington's Disease: Patients Need MORE Than a Cure!" Huntington’s Disease (HD) is a rare, genetic, neurodegenerative disease.  Often described as similar to having ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s all at once, HD families are desperate for a cure.  In the meantime, they are also desperate for CARE.  Stacey Barton, MSW, LCSW, from Washington University School of Medicine, will provide an overview of the disease and sensitize the audience to the need for knowledge and care for this devastating illness.
